I am pretty sure all coaches have contacted their players already. We did have
a couple registrants that we have to refund the registration fee because the players
were too old for the divisions we created. Coach Pitch Divisiion is for kids now in 1st - 3rd grade
and the Juniors/Minors Division is for kids now in 4th - 6th grade. If your son/daughter is in 7th or 8th
we will refund your money. |

We still have not heard from any coaches. I was wondering if there are going to be any practices during the week? |

The "Coach Pitch" Division has 45 players total across 4 teams.
Rosters were shared with the coaches this week.
Parents should be receiving a call from the coach introducing himself before 8/24.
If you signed your child up for Pee Wee (aka Coach Pitch) please let us know here
if you have not heard from the coach by the end of this week. |

We have enough players for two full teams for a Juniors/Minors Division.
Players in grades 4-5-6 will be split up into 2 teams. Registration JUST ended Friday
and right now we are trying to make the teams even with pitching and players.
The rosters will be sent to the coaches very soon. Please be patient.
Also, during the regular season, 5-6 yr olds sign up for T-ball. We don't organize T-ball in the Fall. |

Can anyone tell me if you offer a league for 5 year olds? Or does your Pee Wee start at age 7? Thank you. |

So, we have heard that there are not enough kids in the Juniors division to form enough teams for the Fall Ball season. Is this true and shouldn't we have heard from a coach by now? |

thanks for the Fall league, I think it is a wonderful idea and thanks for making it on Sundays as my husband works saturdays and missed all those games. I can't wait to see some more baseball!!!! |

Your welcome. I think it is a great idea as well.
TBL President Ken Senvisky wants to give it a try and see how it can evolve over time.
At the TBL Board meeting consideration was surely given to worship service on Sundays.
That is why there are proposed 10:00am and 12:00 Noon game slots. We also wanted
to be accommodative to soccer and fall football. |

Thank you for creating a fall baseball league. With the games on Sunday it shouldn't conflict with fall soccer. Has there been any concern raised in regard to the 10:00 AM games? This might be limiting to those who attend worship service on Sunday mornings. |

I noticed the standings are posted for the minors and the majors but the juniors were not posted all year long, it would have been nice to follow the standings all year long. |

Is the Majors Awards Ceremony at 6:00 or 6:30 tonight? |

I was just wondering why minors and majors awards are on the same night, 7/8. What if you have kids that are in both divisions and would like to go to both ceremonies? |

Will TBL be supporting more than one travel team at given levels if there is enough interest? If not, why? It definitely seems like there is enough interest in something beyond rec and not as intense as the existing travel "A" teams. Other communities have multiple travel teams, why not Twinsburg? |

My question is my son is a great ball player and loves baseball! We have played travel baseball but unfortunately did not make the team this year and we probably would of not done the travel this year because the length of the season and the cost of the season! Why can't TBL come up with something between rec. league and travel league? Put some of the great playing baseball kids that want the game to be more competitive and on a team and play against other rec. teams in the nearby cities or do some other tournaments? |

Concerned Parent: We must be on the same page because all season we have been looking for another tournament for the Rec All-Stars to participate in that matches their skill level. Currently we have the 9-10and 11-12 year old Rec All-Stars in a tournament in Youngstown the week following the Twinsburg Tournament and are actively looking for one for the 13-14 Rec All-Stars. In addition, we have created an open registration for our Seniors Division which is for 15 -16 year old players that want to continue to play baseball. We currently have two 15-16 year old teams registered and participating in the East Suburban League with the intent to expand with additional teams in the coming years. |

Hi guys. Nice website. I just wanted to present this idea. So my son is a pretty good baseball player. He is in the rec league. And he hates how some of the kids on his team dont match the level of intensity that he has. And he has tried the travel teams but it is just to long of a season. So he loves it every year when he gets that phone call from Mr. Fiarucci saying that he is on the tournament team. But he hates how he only gets to play for one tournament. So my suggestion is that you present the idea to the parents of the kids on the tournament to pay a small fee so that the tournament team could enter other local tournaments. Now I dont know if this could happen this year but i think it is good idea for years to come. And if you cant get into other tournaments then scrimmage other tournament teams. I know other cities have them. Some of the cities that i know have tournament teams are lyndhurst, south euclid, highland heights, mayfield, revere, and willoughby. And i am sure other cities have them as well. I think that Mr. Hearny did something like this but on a slightly higher scale. If you guys could think about this and maybe enter one to two more tournaments im sure my son would love it along with some of the kids that match his intensity such as Sam Hulick, Anthony Milia, Connor Quinn, Dylan Minick, DJ McDaniels, and a few others. |

Well, It's nice to see that so many of you are using our website. As you can see we have added much more content to improve communications between the league and parents. Unfortunately, several of the posts have not been very constructive which is disappointing. Please remember that this IS a volunteer board. Each board member contributes a significant amount of personal time to provide youth baseball our Twinsburg youth. Are we perfect? Absolutely not! Do we care about the future of youth baseball? ABSOLUTELY! Let's keep this in mind when posting comments, or get involved and help. |

Today is 6/23 & TBL just came into possession of the Tribe tickets over the last couple days and now that
they have been sorted by league & team, they will be handed out soon. Each coach or Commissioner
should have them within 2 days.
Also, I understand we have extra tickets that TBL may sell this week quite possibly at the concession stands.
I will know more after the TBL Board meeting this week and post here. |
